Unlike most of our competitors, Hung Kuan has its own tooling department where tools are designed, created, maintained, and repaired. By offering this service in house, Hung Kuan is able to save its clients both time and money and have full control of the entire tooling process. As the tool needs to account for factors such as dimensional precision and production volume, having an in house tooling department allows for modifications and adjustments almost instantly as opposed to sending the tool out to a vendor for modification and relying on their schedule before receiving the tool back for testing custom molds.

In addition to the 50+ years of experience from our tooling engineers, Hung Kuan also applies computer aided design and mold simulations to its process. With our ability to maintain and repair tooling in house, we can ensure that our tooling will last beyond the expected average life cycle.
